Hong Kong, 7 September 2026
RedotPay, the stablecoin-powered payments company, today announced that it has received an independent review of its AML/CFT controls and processes, conducted by a Big Four accounting firm.
The review covered RedotPay's licensed Hong Kong subsidiaries and evaluated the company's AML/CFT processes and controls against the relevant guidelines issued by the Hong Kong Companies Registry. It examined end-to-end compliance processes, including governance, quality assurance, customer due diligence (CDD), transaction monitoring, and internal staff training and resourcing.
The outcome confirms that RedotPay's processes and controls are capable of identifying, assessing and managing financial-crime risk. For the company's users, partners, stakeholders and investors, the review provides third-party assurance that RedotPay is building the foundation to offer its services responsibly and sustainably.
RedotPay's position is that stablecoin-powered payments should be fast and simple, but never at the expense of proper safeguards and compliance. As stablecoin payments move into the mainstream, the company believes firms in the sector carry a responsibility to hold themselves to the highest standards of compliance and financial-crime prevention, and it intends to lead by example.
A RedotPay spokesperson said: "All stablecoin payments firms have a solemn responsibility to operate with strong safeguards and clear accountability. We welcome independent scrutiny because it helps us continuously assess and improve the controls that support our users, partners, and the broader payments ecosystem."
RedotPay describes the review as one step rather than a destination. As rules for stablecoins and digital payments continue to evolve, the company says it will keep investing in its controls, working closely with regulators and partners, and maintaining transparency with its community, with the goal of making stablecoin payments more accessible while continuing to earn the trust of the people and institutions that rely on it.
