Editorial Policy and AI-Use Disclosure

Last updated: September 2026

Stablecoin Insider covers stablecoins, payment rails, regulation and on-chain finance. Because these topics affect how readers move and hold money, we hold our content to a clear set of standards. This page explains how our articles are researched and produced, how we use AI tools, how we source facts, how we correct mistakes, and how we label sponsored and press-release content.

How we research content

Every article starts from a defined reader question: what a product does, how a regulation works, which providers fit a specific use case, or what changed in the market. Our research draws first on primary material, including:

  • Official documentation, API references and product pages published by the companies and protocols we cover.
  • Issuer disclosures, such as reserve attestations and transparency reports published by stablecoin issuers.
  • Laws, regulatory texts, consultations and statements from regulators and central banks.
  • On-chain and market data from public data providers such as DefiLlama and block explorers.

Secondary sources such as news reports and research notes are used for context, and we link to them when we rely on them.

How we use AI (AI-use disclosure)

Stablecoin Insider uses AI-assisted drafting. AI tools help us gather and summarise source material, structure articles and produce first drafts. AI tools do not decide what we publish.

  • Human editorial review: drafts are reviewed by a member of our editorial team before publication. Reviewers check the structure, the claims and the sources, and edit or remove content that does not meet these standards.
  • Automated pre-publication checks: before an article goes live, it passes automated checks that flag statistics without a linked source, broken links and articles that are too short to be useful.
  • No invented facts: we do not publish statistics, quotes, credentials or names that we cannot trace to a real source. If a figure cannot be verified, it is removed.

Sourcing standards

  • Primary sources first. Where a number, rule or product detail comes from a primary source (an issuer attestation, an official document, a regulator or a data provider), we link directly to that source in the sentence or table where it appears.
  • Every statistic is linked. Market caps, volumes, yields, fees and similar figures carry a link to where the figure came from, and we state the date of the figure when it is time-sensitive.
  • Dated data is labelled. Stablecoin markets move quickly. Reports tied to a period (for example, a quarterly report) keep their original date. Evergreen guides that we refresh show a "Last updated" line.
  • Not financial advice. Our content is for information and education. It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice. See our Terms of Use.

Corrections process

If you find a factual error, an outdated figure or a broken source link, please email partnerships@stablecoininsider.com with the subject line "Correction" and include the article URL and the source that supports the correction.

  • We review every correction request against the original and primary sources.
  • When a correction changes the meaning of a fact, figure or conclusion, we update the article and note the correction in the text.
  • Minor fixes, such as typos or broken links, are corrected without a note.

How sponsored and press-release content is labelled

Stablecoin Insider earns revenue through commercial partnerships, including sponsored articles and sponsored reports. As set out in our Terms of Use:

  • Content published under a commercial arrangement is labelled at or near the top of the page with "Sponsored", "In Partnership With" or "Partner Content" (or substantially similar wording).
  • Press releases supplied by companies are published under our "Press Release" tag and are the issuing company's own statements. They are not independent reporting by Stablecoin Insider.
  • A commercial relationship with a company does not mean we endorse its products, solvency or regulatory status. Editorial judgment on unsponsored content is independent of commercial relationships.

To discuss partnerships, see Our Partners.
